Bell is a compassionate and highly capable Chartered Physiotherapist with broad experience across community rehabilitation, respiratory care, acute medicine, pelvic health, oncology and inpatient rehabilitation. She currently works across a number of specialist physiotherapy roles, giving her a strong clinical foundation in supporting patients with both straightforward and more complex rehabilitation needs.
Since qualifying from the University of Nottingham with a BSc in Physiotherapy, Bell has developed extensive experience assessing and treating patients across a wide range of clinical settings. Her background includes acute medicine, pelvic health, haematology and oncology, respiratory physiotherapy and rehabilitation, allowing her to take a broad and holistic approach to patient care.
Bell has particular experience working with patients in the community and within their own homes. She is confident supporting individuals following illness, hospital admission or a decline in mobility and function, with a strong focus on rebuilding strength, confidence and independence. Her experience managing medically complex patients also ensures that rehabilitation in the home is safe, appropriate and carefully tailored to each individual.
Bell has a particular interest in respiratory physiotherapy and pulmonary rehabilitation. She has undertaken further professional development in asthma, COPD and pulmonary rehabilitation and is experienced in helping patients improve exercise tolerance, physical function and confidence while managing long-term respiratory conditions.
Her approach is warm, practical and patient-centred. Bell takes time to understand each patient’s priorities and adapts treatment around their individual abilities, lifestyle and goals. She places particular emphasis on helping patients feel comfortable and confident during rehabilitation, while setting realistic and measurable goals that support meaningful improvements in everyday life.
Alongside physiotherapy, Bell holds a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sports Massage and is currently completing her Level 4 Pilates Master Practitioner qualification in Mat and Reformer Pilates. These additional skills complement her rehabilitation approach and strengthen her knowledge of movement, exercise and progressive strengthening.
Bell is also an experienced clinical educator and has completed formal educator training. Her background in teaching, leadership and wellbeing reflects her approachable nature, strong communication skills and commitment to delivering a consistently high standard of care.
With her combination of community, rehabilitation, respiratory and acute-care experience, Bell is particularly well suited to providing personalised physiotherapy in the home. She focuses on improving mobility, strength, confidence and independence while ensuring treatment is progressive, realistic and centred around what matters most to each patient.
