Christina

BSc Physiotherapy, MCSP, HCPC
Chartered Physiotherapist

Christina is a highly experienced Chartered Physiotherapist with over 20 years of combined NHS, private practice, and international clinical experience across paediatrics, musculoskeletal physiotherapy, community rehabilitation, and specialist services. Qualified in New Zealand, she has worked extensively across the UK and Australia and brings a broad clinical skill set, strong assessment expertise, and a calm, adaptable approach to her home-visit practice.

Christina has developed particular expertise in paediatric physiotherapy, with many years of experience managing children and young people with musculoskeletal conditions, neurodevelopmental presentations, coordination difficulties, orthopaedic needs, and physical disabilities. Her work has included outpatient clinics, special needs schools, baby clinics, gait clinics, hydrotherapy, and community-based care, allowing her to support children and families across a wide range of settings.

Alongside her paediatric work, Christina also has a strong musculoskeletal background in adult physiotherapy. She has managed outpatient caseloads involving acute and chronic musculoskeletal problems, post-traumatic and post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain, and functional restoration. Her earlier rotational and senior roles across cardiorespiratory, orthopaedics, paediatrics, burns and plastics, rheumatology, and chronic pain have given her a broad and well-rounded clinical foundation.

Christina has also held specialist roles in community and international settings, including working as the sole physiotherapist for Vision Australia’s Early Intervention Team across Victoria, supporting children and young people with blindness or low vision. This role involved home, school, childcare, playground, and pool-based therapy, equipment trials, long-term planning, and close multidisciplinary working, further strengthening her ability to provide highly personalised care in real-world environments.

Her approach is practical, evidence-based, and family-centred. She combines detailed assessment with tailored rehabilitation, clear education, and realistic goal setting to help each child or individual improve movement, function, confidence, and independence. Christina is known for her warm, professional manner and her ability to build strong relationships with patients and families while delivering thoughtful, high-quality care in the home environment.
