Ken is a dedicated and highly skilled HCPCregistered Physiotherapist with First Class
Honours in BSc Physiotherapy from the University of Birmingham. He has broad NHS
experience across acute care, trauma and orthopaedics, neurological rehabilitation, olderpeople’s services, respiratory physiotherapy, and community-based rehabilitation.
Since qualifying, Ken has developed strong clinical reasoning and practical rehabilitation
skills through rotational NHS roles, independently managing a wide range of patients withcomplex physical and medical needs. His experience includes postoperative
rehabilitation, trauma recovery, falls prevention, mobility rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, and support for patients recovering after hospital admission.
Ken has worked with individuals following fractures, surgery, spinal cord injuries, brain
injuries, neurological conditions, reduced mobility, and functional decline.
He is experienced in delivering safe, personalised rehabilitation plans that focus on improving strength, balance, confidence, independence, and day-to-day function within the home environment. His clinical background also includes acute respiratory physiotherapy, where he has managed critically
unwell patients as part of the NHS respiratory on call service. This has strengthened his clinical judgement, risk awareness, and ability to assess patients
safely and thoroughly, particularly those with more complex health needs.
Ken has additional training in vestibular physiotherapy, neurological rehabilitation, holistic falls assessment and prevention, shoulder rehabilitation, spinal imaging interpretation, and chest X-ray interpretation. He also has experience leading exercise groups for older adults at high risk of falls,
combining practical rehabilitation with clear education to support long-term safety and independence.
Alongside his clinical work, Ken currently works as a Research Practitioner, contributing to clinical trials and evidence based healthcare. This research
background supports his thoughtful, up-to-date, and evidence-informed approach to physiotherapy. Ken is known for his calm, professional, and
patient-centred manner. He takes time to understand each individual’s needs, goals, and home environment, providing clear guidance and structured
rehabilitation to help patients regain confidence, mobility, and independence in the comfort of their own home
