Kim is an experienced Chartered Physiotherapist with a broad clinical background across musculoskeletal physiotherapy, rehabilitation, paediatrics, frailty, palliative care and community-based care. She brings a warm, practical and patient-centred approach to her work, supporting people to improve mobility, confidence and quality of life in a way that feels realistic and meaningful to them.
Kim has worked across a wide range of settings, including private practice, hospitals, hospices, community rehabilitation and outpatient clinics. Her experience includes helping patients recover after surgery, manage musculoskeletal pain, improve strength and balance, return to activity, and regain independence following illness or a change in function. She has also worked closely with patients and families to support safe discharge planning, mobility assessments, walking aid provision and home-based rehabilitation.
Alongside her physiotherapy work, Kim is also a qualified Pilates instructor and has run her own private wellbeing business, delivering Pilates classes and supporting people with posture, movement confidence and exercise progression. Her Pilates background gives her a strong understanding of movement, strength and body awareness, which she integrates into her rehabilitation approach where appropriate.
Kim has a particular interest in helping people maintain independence, whether following injury, surgery, illness or a period of reduced mobility. She is experienced in adapting treatment to each individual’s needs, goals and home environment, providing clear guidance, reassurance and practical exercises that can be built into daily life.
Her approach is calm, encouraging and holistic, with a strong focus on helping patients feel safe, listened to and supported throughout their rehabilitation journey.
