Chartered Physiotherapist
Esme graduated from Keele University in 2017 and has since built a broad and diverse career within the NHS, developing a strong foundation across multiple areas of physiotherapy. Her early professional experience includes working at Worthing and St Richard’s Hospitals, where she gained valuable skills in neurology, respiratory care, elderly rehabilitation, general medicine, musculoskeletal (MSK) outpatients, and orthopaedics.
Over the past seven years, Esme has supported patients at all stages of recovery and rehabilitation. In the last three years, she has chosen to specialise in orthopaedics and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, where she has found particular fulfilment and clinical impact. In her current NHS role, Esme works across inpatient orthopaedics, the virtual fracture clinic, accident and emergency (A&E), and MSK outpatient services. This varied caseload allows her to assist patients from the early stages of injury through to full recovery and a return to daily function.
Esme is particularly passionate about helping individuals regain confidence and return to the activities they enjoy. She finds it incredibly rewarding to see her patients realise what they’re capable of achieving, whether it's getting back to sport, a favourite hobby, or simply moving with greater ease and comfort.
Outside of her professional life, Esme enjoys walking her dog, gardening, and spending quality time with her family. These activities help her maintain balance and bring warmth and perspective to her patient care.
